Innovation
I like to tinker and create. As a chemist, I developed several new products. I continue to develop novel ideas for fun and to better understand the innovation process.

Head Hammock
I hate the neck pillows used for planes. So I developed another, better device. The prototyping stage is complete. Patenting is still in process.

Hori Hori Spear
Just a simple Hori Hori style knife attached to a hoe. The perfect garden companion.

Pano
A picture frame designed to bring panoramic pictures to life and engage viewers. Patent Pending and will hopefully be approved in 2023.

Weed Whip
Simple manual weeding tool. Yes, it's just an old golf club with a plastic wire taped to the top BUT I was designing a 3D model for a unique dispensing component. It was actually designed to test if the gig economy could apply to manufacturing. Lithium-ion batteries have made this obsolete.

Low power temperature/humidity sensor
IoT device for measuring light intensity, temperature, and humidity designed for low power consumption.

Bluetooth speaker
A boom box that looks good and bumps!

Spikefast Reformulation
For my master's thesis, I reformulated the wooded tie repair compound to have better flow characteristics in extreme temperatures.

Polyurea coating for composites
Improved coating to replace epoxy in composite applications with carbon fiber or glass. 2-3x the flexibility as epoxy with the same strength and ZERO yellowing in the sun.
